The challenge

Residents queued for hours to file permits on paper. Applications were lost, status was a phone call, and staff drowned in manual data entry with no audit trail.

What we built

• Mapped the entire permit workflow with agency staff before writing a line of code.
• Built an accessible online application with document upload and digital payment.
• Created a staff review console with routing, approvals, and a full audit trail.
• Added real-time status tracking so residents always know where they stand.

What used to take three weeks and two trips downtown now takes minutes from a phone. This is what modern government should feel like.
